July marks the beginning of Neighborhood WIC’s fifth season of Farm to WIC! Farm to WIC is an initiative at Public Health Solutions designed to ensure that WIC participants know where to find NYC farmers’ markets, and how to use their WIC and SNAP benefits for local fresh foods.
Public Health Solutions, the largest public health nonprofit serving New York City, inducted the First Lady of New York City, Chirlane McCray, into its Public Health Hall of Fame at its Health Reimagined 60th Anniversary Gala. The Hall of Fame honors extraordinary New Yorkers who have made an exceptional impact on the health of families and communities in New York City, and McCray is its first inductee.

Hansell to announce the donation of 1,000 new Pack ‘N Play portable cribs, or “Katz’s Cradles,” to provide more Queens families with a safe sleep surface for their infants.
