 NYS Family Planning Project

With the support of the New York State Department of Health, MIC-Women's Health Services provides family planning education and clinic services to more than 17,000 at-risk individuals each year. MIC's seven health centers are located in low-income communities with large populations of undocumented immigrants and high levels of unmet family planning and health care needs. The family planning services provided at these eight centers are continuous and comprehensive. In addition to the provision of most available birth control methods on-site, these services include individual STD, HIV and reproductive health education, routine screening and treatment or referral, walk-in pregnancy testing and options counseling.
