Due to the COVID-19 outbreak in New York City, PHS’ Nurse-Family Partnership offices are currently closed. Support services are being provided via telephone and video-based sessions for enrolled participants. New participants are welcome during this time. Please call the numbers listed below for more information. We are continuing to monitor the situation closely so please check back in on this page for regular updates.

Our Nurse-Family Partnership® (NFP) program is a free home visiting service that gives first-time moms valuable knowledge and support beginning early in pregnancy and until their baby reaches two years of age. Partnering first-time mothers with caring nurse professionals who provide services in the family’s home, empowers these mothers to confidently create a better life for their children and themselves.

Nearly 40 years of research has consistently proven that the Nurse-Family Partnership® program succeeds at its most important goals—keeping children healthy and safe, and improving the lives of moms and babies.

NFP serves families in Corona, Jackson Heights, Elmhurst, Astoria, Sunnyside, Woodside, Long Island City and Rockaway in Queens and throughout Staten Island.
