Queens County Cribs for Kids provides Queens parents and caregivers with equipment, materials and education to help their babies grow safe and strong.

Overview

We are the distributor for Queens County Cribs for Kids, a program that provides eligible parents and caregivers with safe-sleep education, a Pack ‘n Play or portable crib, crib sheets, a safe sleep sack, and crib netting.

Who We Serve

Queens County Cribs for Kids is available to parents or caregivers who:

  • Live in Queens County, NYC
  • Do not have access to a safe sleep surface for their baby
  • Are at least 36 weeks pregnant or have a baby who is less than 6 months old. The child’s birth certificate or hospital discharge papers are required

Impact

Hundreds of babies have the chance to sleep safely in a crib, even if their family cannot afford it, thus reducing the risk of sudden infant death syndrome, and reducing parental stress and anxiety.
