Maternal health disparities acutely affect Black women. In New York City alone, black women are nine times more likely to die due to childbirth-related complications than white women. At PHS, we are working to create a more equitable community of care through all stages of pregnancy, investing in our reproductive health clinics, Doula services, the Queens Birth Justice Hub, and a host of other support services we provide before, during, and after birth. We invite you to join us in this mission to advance health equity in New York City and improve maternal health outcomes.
