Our History

FITA, a service division of Public Health Solutions, helps nonprofit organizations build their structural capacity to operate more effective and efficient programs.

FITA was founded in 1993 to assist New York City’s HIV/AIDS service providers to develop much needed infrastructure to keep pace with rapidly changing funding environments and shifting priorities in the fight against the disease.

Since that time, FITA has expanded to provide both organizational and programmatic management consulting services to a range of not-for-profits focused on a diversity of public health and community issues, in New York City and nationally.
