Managers in health and human services agencies face numerous challenges in their jobs, although few are as complex yet potentially rewarding as managing an organization’s most important resource—its staff.

Nonprofit Consulting Services’ two-day “Supervising to Manage Performance” training strengthens the knowledge and skills of supervisory staff related to management, with a particular emphasis on the role of supervision.

Targeted to senior administrative staff and program managers, the “Supervising to Manage Performance” training focuses on improving quality of supervision provided to staff - overcoming communication blocks, evaluating staff based on performance, setting clear staff expectations, monitoring staff against their performance plans and how to develop and motivate staff to meet agency goals.

This training is offered through our open enrollment series of trainings or it can be customized specifically for your agency.
