Nonprofit Consulting Services’ Common Cents® fiscal management training package helps nonprofits develop the robust fiscal control necessary for smooth operations in this challenging environment with minimal effort and expense. Common Cents® enables Executive Directors, CFOs, business managers and fiscal staff to create an up-to-date fiscal policies and procedures manual based on industry best practices tailored to their own organization.
Common Cents® walks participants through diagnostic questionnaires that enable them to identify deficiencies and/or material weaknesses within their internal controls. Utilizing templates such as flow charts, customizable organizational charts, job descriptions and sample forms which are tailored to the specific needs of their organization, participants leave the training with a draft fiscal policy and procedures manual and, perhaps even more importantly, a written implementation plan that is customized to the needs of their agency.
The Common Cents® training is offered to non-profit organizations nationally both in English and Spanish. Since 2000, Nonprofit Consulting Services trained over 300 organizations throughout the United States and Puerto Rico to develop their own fiscal polices and procedures manual and create an implementation plan for use within their agency.
