Prior to attendance at a Street Smart training of facilitators, participants are encouraged to become familiar with the programs curricula whether you are committed to implementing Street Smart or simply interested in seeing parts of their respective curricula to help you in your decision-making process. Adaptation is a critical aspect of implementing a curriculum based intervention. The links below lead to excerpts of an adaptation guide (designed to be used in concert with one-on-one technical assistance) to lead agencies through the process of conducting adaptation activities while still remaining faithful to core elements of the curriculum, ensuring that the original intended outcomes for target populations are met.
