Street Smart Training of Facilitators
Prior to implementation of the intervention, agencies are strongly encouraged to attend a training of facilitators in order to conduct the intervention with fidelity to the curriculum, engage with a capacity building assistance (CBA) provider that guarantees access to future support for intervention implementation and network with other community based organizations who intend to implement the intervention. The training of facilitators is a highly interactive training allowing participants to practice sessions, explore the science behind the intervention as well as receive guidance and support for engaging in the adaptation process.
Once registered for a Street Smart training of facilitators, participants complete a capacity assessment that aids us in assessing an organization’s human resources, fiscal or technical assistance needs in order to facilitate successful completion of the training and subsequent implementation of Street Smart.
