Dear Potential Applicant:
The NYC Coalition for a Smoke-Free City, a program of Public Health Solutions, invites you to submit a proposal in response to the
Request for Proposals (RFP) titled NYC Coalition for a Smoke-Free City: Community Contractor Initiative.
The NYC Coalition for a Smoke-Free City (NYC Coalition) is a health advocacy group that works in the five boroughs to increase
awareness of tobacco control issues among community members and policy makers. Funds are available for community-based organizations to
support and advance the NYC Coalition's tobacco control policy agenda, focusing on reducing the accessibility and visibility of tobacco products,
increasing smoke-free outdoor spaces, and increasing smoke-free housing. Contractors will be selected in each of the five boroughs and will
receive a maximum award of $11,250. The number of contracts in each borough will be as follows:
two in the Bronx, two in Brooklyn, two in Queens, two in Staten Island, and three in Manhattan.
