AIDS Service Organization Management Institute (ASOMI) conducts an organizational needs assessment and provides organizations with an integrated curriculum of training & one-to-one technical assistance in program design, outcomes measurement, board development, financial management, human resources, fundraising and marketing. Client agencies are eligible to apply for a small capacity building stipend upon completion of one-to-one technical assistance.
The Human Resources Technical Assistance Program (HR TA) provides training and one-to-one assistance in human resources management. Services include one-to-one technical assistance on issue specific HR needs and trainings designed to address major HR functions such as benefits administration, legal compliance, staff recruitment, and policy and procedure manuals.
The Technical Assistance for HIV/AIDS Housing Provider program provides workshops and individual consultation offering guidance, and support to organizations interested in or in the process of developing, implementing and operating a supportive housing program for people living with HIV/AIDS.

This program provides one-to-one technical assistance to CBOs working with HIV prevention and AIDS service organizations working in communities of color. Assistance is provided in fundraising, financial management, board development, strategic planning, human resources and technology/marketing.
Technical assistance is also provided to CBOs in MAI-designated zip codes focusing on the improvement of planning, development and management systems and the development of data/information management systems.

FITA was founded in 1993 to assist nonprofit organizations
providing services to people living with HIV/AIDS to develop their
infrastructure in order to keep pace with changing environments. Since that
time, FITA has expanded to principally provide fiscal, programmatic and
evaluative management consulting services focused on a diversity of public
health and community issues, locally regionally and nationally. FITA helps
nonprofit organizations from large urban based hospitals to small grass roots
community based organizations build their structural capacity to operate more
effective and efficient programs. Its core areas of expertise include
organizational infrastructure development, fiscal management best practices
development including performance-based contracting and management training and
support, behavioral science training, and program planning and evaluation.

The Technical Assistance for HIV/AIDS Housing Provider program provides technical assistance and project management services for organizations that wish to develop and operate supportive housing for people living with HIV/AIDS. Services include program planning and development, financial projections and analysis, strategic planning for securing capital and operating funds, expediting and monitoring construction, and assistance with program start-up.

Technical Assistance Clearinghouse provides HIV/AIDS service organizations with information and assistance in gaining organizational resources through a searchable database of technical assistance resources over the internet, or as a manual and diskette.
