The Public Health Programs Division manages programs whose primary focus is community health. These programs include Neighborhood WIC, Early Intervention Service Coordination, Health Insurance Enrollment, Nutrition Outreach and Education, and Public Health Emergency Preparedness among others. The Community and Clinical Health Programs Division manages programs whose primary focus is individual health. These programs include MIC-Women’s Health Services, Nurse-Family Partnership (Queens), Bushwick Bright Start and Smoke-Free Community Connection among others.
The staffs of both these Divisions work with individual project directors, managers and site supervisors. The responsibilities of Division staffs encompass a variety of activities including: developing programs, identifying funding sources and interfacing with funders, implementing programs, monitoring/evaluating programs and providing support and technical assistance to program staff.
